Drawing & Painting on the SouthCoast
NBAM’s summer 2008 adult art classes

The New Bedford Art Museum was pleased to once again offer our hands-on outdoor summer drawing and painting classes, Drawing & Painting on the SouthCoast.
Taught by beloved NBAM teacher, David Baggarly, the classes gave adult students an opportunity to spend concentrated time with one art instructor to develop and deepen their artistic skill. David brings a personal touch to coaching to both beginner and advanced art students.
“My goal is to help the student learn who they are as an artist, what medium they most enjoy and how to find their own style and expression,” Baggarly said.
Students meet on location to draw or paint in the medium of their choice.
This year the program took place at three beautiful SouthCoast locations, with two visits to each, giving students an opportunity to develop work in series.
